Police Department, the Bureau of Street Lighting and the Department of Transportation to begin installing surveillance cameras in response to an increase in home burglaries. The system will help identify by car license plates for any warrants or stolen vehicles and the local police division will be notified. Cameras will not be utilized to issue tickets.
