You can now register for the 2019 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, which will take place January 22-24. We need over 8,000 volunteers to canvass more than 80 cities and 200 communities across Los Angeles County.
By participating in the Homeless Count, you will help us better understand homelessness in our region and direct resources where they’re needed most.
In 2018, the county’s homeless population decreased for the first time in four years. But the forces driving people into homelessness persist, and we see the results on our streets. Los Angeles still has the largest unsheltered homeless population in the country.
We must do better. That’s why we count.
Thank you for your commitment to reducing and ending homelessness in Los Angeles County.
