WEST HILLS HALLOWEEN HOUSES ON DISPLAY RESULTS
Sunday night October 24, Judges of the 3rd Annual Halloween Houses on Display Competition of West Hills viewed 34 exterior of homes and spent several hours afterward in discussion as to the winners of the competition. After discussing, scary clowns, ghosts, candy out of canons, a haunted tunnel, yoga skeletons and Dexter among the unique and creative displays this year, and struggling with a very difficult decision, they have determined the following people as the front-runners of this years’ event.
In the SCARY CATEGORY First place goes to The Casey Family. Second Place is awarded to Jeff and Alicia Hannan, while Third Place is awarded to Lon and Oliafia Moeller. In the COMICAL CATEGORY First place goes to Elizabeth and Dodd Harris. Second Place is awarded to the Henley Family. And Third Place winners are the Marks Family. This year the Innovation Award is given in the Comical category to the Marks Family for their creative uniqueness and individuality. Please congratulate them and all of the entries as they are amazing. AND THIS IS A FREE EVENT that is sponsored by the Special Events Committee of the WHNC, and Councilmember John Lee of CD12.
