IMPORTANT!  These two issues when approved will change the character of our neighborhoods adding more density, parking problems, pollution and increased traffic with development that is inappropriate for our residential community.  Please go to the our Zoning & Planning Committee page for more information.

The City Planning Commission meets on September 26, 2024 to vote their approval on the proposed Housing Incentive Program (CHIP) ordinance and the Housing Sites and Minimum Density ordinance.  Next step is final approval by the City Council.

The Time to Act is Now!  City Planning is moving quickly to approve ordinances that will alter how and where projects can be built throughout Los Angeles.  Community members can call and email Mayor Karen Bass expressing their opinions on allowing multi-story projects next to single-family homes.  Phone number:  213-978-0600 and email: [email protected]

The Project Application for the Circle S Ranch Property has been filed with City Planning.  The approval process begins for the five-story Woodlake Apts, 332-unit affordable housing to be built next to single-family homes. Because of new City Planning ordinances this development now allows a reduced number of 154 parking spaces  along with other incentives favorable to the builder.

There is still time to submit your application, but the deadline is coming up soon!
