*L.A. City Charter Reform-Council File 25-0869. The Charter governs the structure and operation of City government. Charter Reform Commission website On January 8, 2026 the Board approved WHNC's recommendations for a CIS (Community Impact Statement) to submit to the Charter Reform Commission (March 10, 2026) WHNC Recommendations for City Charter Reforms On January 21, 2026 LANCC (Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Coalition) submitted their recommendations for Charter Reform.
*Woodlake Apartments Project- Change of property ownership. The site acquired by a developer with plans to build family affordable housing. WHNC and the Council office met with the developer to learn more about the project. Additional meetings scheduled in March. The plans are that he will be guest presenter at a future Zoning & Planning Committee meeting.
*Proposed Starbucks Drive-Thru Coffee Shop located at 23717 W. Victory Blvd. Documents can be viewed: Case #ZA-2024-5222-CU2-ZBA. Project was approved and there was an appeal that was denied. March 9, 2026 Decision letter
